What is XaaS?
XaaS (Anything as a Service) is a comprehensive model for flexible cloud delivery, ranging from software and infrastructure to entire development platforms. Evonius leverages this approach to provide companies with highly flexible, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud services. This eliminates the need for you to operate your own hardware or manage complex IT infrastructures.
Where is my data stored?
All our data processing takes place exclusively in high-security data centers in Germany. As a result, we are subject to the strict regulations of the German General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
What is the difference between VPS & VDS?
The key difference between a Virtual Private Server (VPS) and a Virtual Dedicated Server (VDS) lies in resource guarantees. A VPS is often the more cost-effective option as it is based on a shared-resource model, where CPU cores and I/O access may be shared with other users on the same physical host. This can lead to performance fluctuations during peak times. In contrast, a VDS guarantees dedicated resources, this assigned computing power is reserved exclusively for your virtual machine. While more expensive, a VDS provides consistently high and reliable performance by eliminating interference from other users.
